“…Always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you…”
1 Peter 3:16

We are living in a time where Christianity is becoming more and more counter cultural. With the Church facing growing antagonism toward the Truth Claims of the Christian Faith, much of what we believe is being challenged by those who do not acknowledge the Bible as the inerrant Word of God and rely rather upon their own abilities to determine what is good and just and righteous.

It is becoming increasingly more vital for the average follower of Christ to be able to defend what they believe. There is a need for every believer to be an apologist for the Christian Faith.

What does it mean to be an apologist? What is apologetics?

The Greek word, apologia, which appears in 1 Peter 3:15, means “to make a defense.” Christian Apologetics consists of providing a defense for the truth claims of Christianity and providing clarity as to what these claims are and why they should be believed.

Christian Worldview at Odds with Secular Worldview On a wide range of vital issues facing our society, we find the Christian Worldview at odds with the Secular Worldview. These include: the origins of life, abortion and the whole range of sexual morality issues. We also find ourselves challenged to give a Biblical response to issues such as racism and economic policies like taxation and the capitalism vs. socialism debate.

What Would Jesus Do? We believe that the Bible provides us with all the tools we need to live godly lives. Lives that will lead to human flourishing.
In giving a defense for the Christian Faith, we are not merely attempting to win an argument, but to win hearts.
We are not interested in making Christianity acceptable to our culture, but to make the truth claims of the Christian Faith clear.
We are hoping to see men and women reconciled to God and to enter into His Kingdom as His sons and daughters through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

Be Prepared To Make A Defense For The Hope That Is In You.

The Apostle Peter, in 1 Peter 3:15,16 admonishes us to always be prepared “to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you…”

Frank Ulle will help equip your church or group to fulfill that task. Presenting the Biblical basis for what we believe, and providing them with the tools necessary to give a solid, reasoned response to the challenges they will face.

You will learn how to logically work through flaws in anti-biblical ideologies as well as how to reframe questions so as not to be caught in false dichotomies or faulty reasoning.

We Are Living In Challenging Times.

We are living in a time where the truth of God’s Word is being disregarded and even God Himself is being dishonored. We are living in a time where evil is called good, and good is called evil. And this mentality has taken hold of the mainstream of our culture.

But there is an exciting hope. As the world around us turns darker and darker, the light of the Gospel will shine brighter and brighter.

In these challenging times, it is vital for each and every believer, from the youngest to the oldest, to understand what we believe and why we believe it.

We have been called to the Kingdom for such a time as this.

About Frank Ulle

Frank Ulle has been producing the audio drama, Nick Guy, Private Eye, since 2010. In this comedy/adventure series, Frank provides an apologetic for a wide variety of topics in an entertaining and challenging way. The series has tackled such issues as “What happened to the body of Jesus three days after it was laid in the tomb?” The series has delved into the evolution/creation debate, as well as the difference between liberty and license, and the difference between subjective feelings and objective fact. Other installments have defined what it means to be poor in spirit, to show mercy and what Jesus meant when He admonished us to “judge not.”

But Frank’s work is not limited to the field of audio drama. He is also available for speaking engagements where he can provide a definition of apologetics and its importance for the Church today. He can also provide helpful tools in defending the faith concerning issues like abortion, gay marriage, subjective reality vs. objective truth, the importance of reframing questions, and even walk through with his audience the solving of a mystery.
